What to See

Pigeon River Provincial Park


Come enjoy this day use park where you can explore the hiking trails, the awesome scenic views, sculpted  artwork benches and two breathtaking waterfalls, High Falls and Middle Falls. A perfect place for an afternoon picnic.

 



Little Trout Bay Conservation Area


Enjoy the view of Lake Superior. A boat launch provides access for you to explore Lake Superior. A gazebo with picnic tables and barbeque area is available for use. Walk the trails, you never know what kind of wildlife you may see!

Sunken Ship Sites


Go scuba diving, kayaking, or canoeing over the sunken ships in Lake Superior. These sites are only accessible by boat and are sure to give you an adventure you will never forget. The Howard sunk on June 13th 1921 just off the coast of Victoria Island a 115 feet long tug boat that weighs over 195 tons. Also search for the tug boat graveyard around the coast of Flatland Island where are many tug boats sank around the 1950’s.

 



Thompson Island Provincial Nature Reserve

Sail to the harbor of Thompson Island nature reserve for day use. Enjoy the experience of scenic lookouts to continuing on the journey for further exploration in Neebing.
